Some pictures from the live burn today....

Here are some pictures from the live burn we went to this morning in Thompson. I didn't do much other than make several trips, delivering water back and forth from the fill sites to the portable drop tanks on scene. I actually had fun and surprisingly the Tanker has A LOT of "get up" when it doesn't have 2,500 gallons of water on board... >8-D

The Victim...

Rene dumping my load....of water into the drop tank. (LOL)

This was from one of our fill sites, about an hour into the burn. Notice the reminence from the header of smoke on the left. The barn was on the opposite side of the river, about a quarter of a mile south(on the right). The majority of the barn had burned by now, so the heavy smoke stopped and headed into Massachussets...

Rene took this one of me through the front windshield, while I was backing up to the drop tank. Notice the one handed driving while holding my "life juice" a.k.a. Dunkin Donuts coffee...LOL

It's true, America runs on Dunkin!

Jen said that Gene had pictures from the live burn and was trying to figure out how to get them uploaded online somewhere but I'm not sure where.
